Colorado Yurts have been manufactured in Colorado by the same company owner for 30 years. Superior craftsmanship and attention to detail such as extra reinforcement at the bottom yurt wall attachment point, a lattice to floor "L" bracket attachment at every other crown instead of every five and an innovative wall fabric to door attachment for a secure fit.
Colorado Yurts contain a generous bundle of standard features. These are some of the standard features we like best. - Three windows instead of two. - Heavy duty zipper on all windows for tight closure - Easy snap system for rolling up window covers. - All window flaps can convert to window awnings. - A door with a window. - An exclusive fabric wall to door connection for a rock solid seal and fit. - A rain cricket (rain diverter) over every door. - An exclusive wall to roof lacing system. - Heavy duty reinforcement at the bottom where the fabric attaches to the platform. - Smooth, sanded rafter corners to prevent wear and tear on fabric. - A handcrafted Doug Fir compression ring that is 3" thick and 5' wide. - A 5' wide dome with a rubber gasket and 6 connection points for a weather tight fit.
