The Phillawatt Concentrating Trough Collector Kit contains all of the hardware to assemble a 4-foot by 4-foot trough. A recommended flow rate from 1.5 to 2.5 gpm (gallons per minute) will produce approximately 20,000 BTU's per day, depending on your installation and global location.
These units are manufactured in Colorado at altitude. The troughs rotate around the center receiving tube and can be connected to form troughs of multiple lengths. The trough weighs 17 pounds. Add a tracker and the weight is 26 pounds.
The Phillawatt Sun Tracker operates on 12 volt to 24 volt DC. Current consumption is 130 ma. Mounting is accommodated with a mounting bracket that can be drilled and formed for your application. A 6-foot power cord is fitted with a quick disconnect connector that attaches to our PV cell included in our tracker kit. The water- resistant case is intended for fast and easy installation. Motors, and torque amplifiers are plug and play with the tracker kit so call for details.
