Introducing the latest evolution in small wind turbines. The AIR-X builds upon what has made AIR the world's #1 selling small wind turbine with new technology previously found only in today's state-of-the-art mega-watt-class wind turbines. Available in 12, 24 and 48V models.
The new AIR-X has a peak output of 400 watts at 28 mph (12.5m/s) wind speed and is suitable for locations where wind speeds reach up to 100 mph. Carbon reinforced blades and a microprocessor based speed control result in quieter operation and improved battery charging capability. The housing is unpainted aluminum and the tower weight is 17 lbs. Optional AIR shutoff/circuit breaker is also available - protects wind generator-to-battery wiring and allows you to disconnect and stop wind generator for service.
