"Sitting around with friends talking about the BEST science-fiction/fanstasy books ever written, Julian May's name came up. I had never read The Many Colored Land so I went to the library and got the book out. After staying up last night to finish it, I am totally bummed that the Public library is missing book two. Should I just skip it and read book three or can I find book two in the bookstore? I thought The Many Colored Lands was excellent because it was able to blend the outerspace element with the fairy-tale element to smoothly. I can't wait to read more!" - Anne 7/18/98
